Gazza’s off-field antics made endeared him to the public as the nation’s sweetheart throughout his career, but since then his battle with alcoholism has plagued him greatly.
Nevertheless, he is an incredibly memorable personality and one who, whether for better or worse, will always have a place in the hearts of many Three Lions fans.
