da betobet: Despite serving a transfer ban that discounts them from signing new players until next year, Barcelona will have more than one eye on the current market and be earmarking potential new signings.
da betway: One area of particular concern for the Camp Nou powerhouses is at right-back, with long-serving defender Dani Alves seeming almost certain to leave the Catalan club this summer.
Out of contract and not being offered the multi-year extension that he craves, the Brazilian has vented his frustration with the powers that be at the Bluagrana recently and is said to have an array of suitors ready to snap him up on a free transfer.
As such, a new long-term replacement for Alves will be on Barcelona’s agenda, with a number of potential options currently plying their trade in English football.
With this in mind, here are three Premier League right-backs that the newly crowned La Liga champions could turn to in a bid to replace Alves.

Hector Bellerin
The Arsenal right-back has been a revelation this season, with the young Spaniard being given an opportunity in the first team, which he’s grabbed!
Now adjudged as the North London club’s first choice in the position ahead of Mathieu Debuchy, Bellerin’s pace, positional sense and ability to get forward with menace have been real pluses for a Gunners side that have improved dramatically since his selection.
With the Spain under-21 defender having spent his youth on Barcelona’s books in the fabled La Masia academy, the appeal to return ‘home’ could be present in Bellerin’s thoughts.
Like Cesc Fabregas before him, Barcelona will also be drawn by the idea of signing a player that knows the club’s virtues and ethos, with the young Spaniard a promising option for Luis Enrique’s men.
Cesar Azpilicueta
An under-rated member of Chelsea’s star-studded squad, Azpilicueta’s name is probably one of the first on Jose Mourinho’s team-sheet on a weekly basis.
As such, the English champions would be very reluctant to see the former Marseille star leave West London, even if Barcelona and their millions did come knocking.
However, there are a number of facets that could see Azpilicueta prefer a move to Barcelona over staying at Stamford Bridge.
Firstly the defender has been playing in the unnatural role of left-back for the last two seasons, which is less than ideal.
Secondly, moving back to his homeland would bolster his chances of regular inclusion for the Spanish national side, especially if he is playing every week for Barcelona.
Javi Manquillo
At first sight, the young defender on loan at Liverpool from Atletico Madrid does not seem up to the task of replacing one of the best right-backs in the world game.
However, according to the Spanish press, the 21-year-old is one of the names on the Camp Nou side’s radar.
Manquillo started his debut campaign at Anfield with promise, but has lost his place in the team since Brendan Rodgers changed formation.
Highly regarded in his homeland and a current Spain under-21 regular, a strong start to next season for Manquillo could convince Barca to buy the defender from parent club Atletico early next year.
