da fezbet: West Ham United are looking to bring in Fulham defender Ryan Fredericks at the end of the season as he would be available on a free transfer, according to a report by football.london.
What’s the story?
da cassino: The right-back is out of contract with the Craven Cottage outfit this summer and could be tempted to try his luck at the senior level of the Premier League.
The former Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate has been highlighted by current boss David Moyes as someone he wants to bring into the club.
The Hammers are reportedly considering to offer the ex-Manchester United boss an extension to his stay at the London Stadium after he has steered the club away from the relegation zone.
Would Fredericks be a good addition?
The Irons are currently struggling for depth at the back, with the likes of Pablo Zabaleta and Sam Byram currently filling in at that position.
Both have found this season difficult to impress, with the Argentine playing the way his age would suggest at times.
The Hammers have also added Patrice Evra to the ranks on the left-hand side, however, another ageing figure would be a concern for most of the West Ham fans.
Fredericks would add some youth to the side and has performed well for the Championship outfit so far, however, he is thought to be happy at Craven Cottage, despite no new contract being offered at the moment.
