Kieran Trippier’s estranged wife Charlotte has been left terrified after seeing burglars attempt to break into her £2 million mansion. Security measures ultimately did their job, with potential intruders failing to get inside the property, but a scary ordeal has “sent chills down the spine” of a family that fear they could be targeted again. Local police forces are investigating the incident.

A source has told The Sun of the ordeal that Charlotte was put through: “It sent chills down her spine. She immediately feared the worst, as it looks as if the burglars tried to ram her gates, and tried to force them open with tools. Charlotte was already on edge after police wrote to residents earlier this year asking them to be vigilant and ensure their homes were secure after a spate of burglaries in the area. She’s improved security as she’s worried burglars have been casing her home.”
Police have confirmed that they are investigating "suspicious activity” at Charlotte’s lavish mansion in an “upmarket area of the country”. CCTV cameras owned by neighbours are being checked in a bid to discover if they picked up “anyone lurking in the area”.
A spokesperson said: “We have received a report of suspicious activity at an address and are making enquiries to establish the circumstances.”
Charlotte doing fine after split from Trippier
Charlotte and Kieran Trippier married in 2016 but are in the process of finalising a divorce. They have three children. A parting of ways is taking place after Kieran was spotted partying with a then mystery blonde – later confirmed to be 28-year-old Frankie Carmichael – at a nightclub in May.
Charlotte moved out of their home in the North East a month later and has been rebuilding her life since then. She regularly shares updates on social media and has informed followers that she is “fine” and “doing great” since her much-publicised split.
She added in one video message: "I just wanted to let everyone know that I am fine. Obviously, I'm not ready to talk about my situation. In time, I will, when I'm comfortable and the time's right. I've got three young children and I don't want to be putting things out there for them to see." She went on to tell those going through a similar separation: "You can get through it, once you make the decision. The sparkle does come back [and] you'll get there. You absolutely will get through any sort of breakup or anything similar to what I'm going through."

Kieran Trippier is facing an uncertain future on and off the pitch, with his contract at Premier League side Newcastle set to expire in the summer of 2026. The experienced full-back, who moved to St James’ Park in January 2022, is now 35 years of age.
Trippier has been focused on club matters since August 2024, when he announced his international retirement. He earned 54 caps for England and scored one goal – which famously came in the 2018 World Cup semi-finals when curling home a spectacular early free-kick against Croatia.
He has taken in 132 appearances for Newcastle, filling the captain’s armband at times, and helped them to end their long wait for major silverware in 204-25 when seeing the Magpies to Carabao Cup glory. As things stand, he will become a free agent when the current campaign comes to a close.
