da 888: Hal Robson-Kanu has been one of a handful that have seriously impressed out in France and in truth, he’s been a massive part of why Wales have done as well as they have this summer.
da cassino: He hit the world headlines after scoring that unbelievable “Cruyff-turn” goal in Wales’ superb 3-1 victory over Belgium to send them through to the semi-finals.
And on the back of that performance, it’s only natural that the former Reading man has been linked with a move or two (or even ten) as he attempts to take his career to the next level.
But who should be in the market for the winger? Where would he fit in best?
Here are FIVE Premier League possibilities that could suit Hal Robson-Kanu going forward…
Liverpool
Perhaps not the move you may expect, but there is little doubt that Hal Robson-Kanu could provide the Reds with something a little bit different.
He can play down the middle or out wide and in a Liverpool side that sometimes lacks a little bit of attacking edge, he could be an unlikely but worthy player to fill that bill.
Watford
Watford are a side that will be looking to improve on a poor second half of the season, and they hit the ground running by bringing in Liverpool youngster Jerome Sinclair just a few days ago.
But with competition in the Premier League being higher than ever, having a player like Robson-Kanu could really suit the Hornets when the going gets tough.
Perhaps there will come a point when the goals dry up for either Ighalo or Deeney and when that point does come, throwing Robson-Kanu into the mix wouldn’t be a bad shout at all.
Burnley
It’s fair to argue that if Robson-Kanu joined a side like Burnley, he’d probably have a better chance at getting minutes than if he went to Anfield.
Nonetheless, a move to the Clarets would definitely represent a jump in quality and be a move in the right direction for his career.
Andre Gray will need a partner to relieve the pressure at some point during the season and Robson-Kanu would provide a useful option from the wing.
Bournemouth
Arguably one of the most impressive promoted sides to have ever reached the Premier League in recent years, Bournemouth will be looking to solidify their place in the top flight during the upcoming season.
Many expected the Cherries to be instantly relegated last season but manager Eddie Howe led them to survival but a little like Burnley, a player like Robson-Kanu could prove to be extremely useful in their ranks.
Stoke City
With players like Peter Crouch quickly fading into the wilderness, The Potters could do with some new blood upfront that are willing to work hard to get goals, cue a move for Robson-Kanu.
Whilst they have the flair of Bojan Krkic and Ibrahim Afellay, Robson-Kanu would provide a terrier like attitude going forward- often useful when playing those hard-to-break-down sides.
